End-of-Year Key Early Years & Year 1 Student Evaluations

(0)
Are you looking for end-of-year, easy-prep student reflections? These evaluations are perfect for summer and have prompts to encourage EYFS children to talk about their learning this past year. They can write to their new teacher and introduce themselves using these templates. Some of the sheets are open-ended so they will suit children of different abilities. Discuss what key skills and topics they have learnt during the academic year beforehand to remind them of their learning in the entire 10 months or so. These resources are ideal for reception class teachers to make evaluations easy plus give helpful feedback for planning the following year. The next teacher will also find these useful as the prompts encourage children to reflect on what they consider themselves to be good at and what they might need help with. The evaluations can create a useful back-to-school class display, reminding children of what they were thinking before the summer holidays. The resources are also useful for teachers covering PPA in several classes – use these in the last few weeks to round up the year and remind children of all the great learning they have done with you. Great for evidence too for key stage leaders if you keep a few copies for their files – maybe a couple of high, middle and low achievers. You will get: 15 templates in different 3 fonts to illustrate and/ or write about: ‘Snapshots’ of the year in pictures My class, friends, teacher and family This year I have …. templates What I would like my teacher to know about me …. templates When I grow up … templates My summer plans Great for you: Ideal opportunity to assess children’s learning Great as independent activities as part of a lesson Use them for morning work Ideal to leave out in the writing area for children to complete during CHIL (child-initiated learning time) Use them for early finishers Ideal if you need a quick resource e.g. for PPA teachers These worksheets are suggested for Early Year and Year 1 students but may also be suitable for other year groups.
